2015 Willamette Valley Reserve Pinot Noir
This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir represents all that is great about the region and this delicate yet capricious grape. Intense aromas of spice and earthy notes are gently wrapped around a bright fruit core. Abundant fresh Bing cherry flavors are reminiscent of long summer days and the bounty of freshly picked fruit the season brings. Smooth and silky on entry yet loaded with vibrant ripe berry flavors. The finish lingers with balanced acidity and just a hint of toasty vanilla.
2015 offered up another extraordinary growing season in the Willamette Valley. We experienced warm weather throughout the winter, which continued into spring and summer. With the exception of a little precipitation in August, it was a nearly ideal growing season. After a strong growing season, the weather returned to typical September weather. The end result was concentrated, yet balanced fruit throughout the region.
