2012 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Case
Racy and bright, 2012 Cornerstone Oregon Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Stepping Stone Cuvée is all about drinking now. Like all of our Artist Series wines, this is a wine for tonight’s dinner. Removed from oak sooner than our Cornerstone Oregon Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, White Label to preserve the forward, charming character of the wines used in this cuveé, it is made in the tradition of the “village” wines of Burgundy. We love it lightly chilled and recommend drinking it with gusto tonight. The 2012 vintage gave us just 452 cases of our Artist Series Pinot Noir.
Aged for ten months in French Oak barrels, of which only 17% were new, to preserve the clean, zesty character in this refreshing pinot noir. We've artfully blended wines from the five great AVAs of the northern Willamette Valley to produce this mouth-watering wine.
